Today we got the white board from the rehearsal room were working in last Friday and Caroline write down the order of the setlist on there and Lennon wanted to do to live is to die by Metallica still so Lennon put it on through the Pa so we could have a listen to it as I don't know the song that well .

So I tried looking at it on my phone and got the tab up on ultimate guitar and we decided that to see it better to get the music stand from the other rehearsal room and then also to get it printed off which Caroline did for us and then we had a look at it tried having ago at it went through it with Lennon too and listened back to the track to see how many times the one riff was being played we just tried to go round it.

Then after that we decided we needed a break from that so we then instead did a run through of my hero which could of gone a bit better. Then we had a 15 minute break .

After break Rob took us to the studio to discuss about visuals and what we may want in the background of the gig . If we wanted different things changing for each song how would we do it ? Well we would do it by editing it together and then someone would have to press play or put it in the spots that you want at that specific time so Rob asked us to give him a scene or ideas that we have so far Cameron and Lennon have already been speaking about it in their group chat I'm not in it so I didn't know the ideas but one of the ideas was a scene from Halloween horror film where Michael is with people and a burning building and I think that they wanted to use for the song London dungeon .

So we watched the clip of that scene on YouTube and then Rob showed us how we could download it I think it was and put it together which gives us 20 something seconds and then we looked up this forest type thing and that would look good on the song join me in death so we added that to the other clip . 

Then we were told to look things up on the computer as a group so Caroline search up scenes from horror movies it came up with the shower scene from psycho and things like that and I said we could stuff from screen as the killer is a ghost face and that would go and kind of match the theme of square hammer as the band is called ghost so we search scream scene on YouTube and we watched a clip of the beginning of scream 2022 and we got to be careful about what we use as we were told by Rob that there is going to be children there and we don't want to scary them like that and also we don't want people watching and paying more attention to the background then actually us as a group preforming the songs . we watched some more videos on like scenes form movies and also horror based stuff but still not sure what we are going to use .

We also talked about that the other people in the gig are not doing horror themed songs that's why we need to be called the history of horror instead of panic at the bus station which the others came up with I don't know where that name came from really.

Also we Rob said that he would get our horror compositions we did ages ago get them together and then edit them so we have got them and can use them in some way maybe in between songs .Also Cameron suggested we have a song playing at the start before we come on Lennon wanted tubular bells but Cameron wanted something different  I don't remember the name of the song he suggested .

Also we discussed that we could change the earth down stairs in the college to orange that was Caroline suggestion and have lights .

What went well?

We talked about the visuals so at least we have got some ideas between us and hopefully we make some of them happen . We rehearsed me hero which i think we needed to do in my opinion.

What could be improved ?

My hero even though we practice near towards the end Cameron stiped singing and things did go as well as they could of been . Also this new song to live is to die it took me the whole lesson to try and sort it out and to be honest I don't think we should of started another song as the gig is literally two days away now and I don't see how we are going to get it done in time or how i am going to remember it so I might need to pull out of that one we all have a limit and i just don't know the song that well to be confident enough in myself to know it and remember it the short amount of time we have got left .
