write up on rehearsal from 20/3/23

Reflection log 

20/3/23 

Performance /rehearsal fmp 

Today we they wanted to start something new so Lennon wanted to do Black Sabbath mashup between heaven and hell and hand of doom. So we had to listen to it and Sandra let use her laptop to find the tab for it and she printed it off for me and then we talked about whether or not we are going to play it in e-flat tuning or play it in standard tuning and decided for it to be in e flat tuning and so I tuned it my guitar down to that which I have never done before and then I listened to some of the song but I wasn’t told which parts they actually wanted me to play so I said I am better at learning this at home to get better understanding of how the song goes and the timing of it etc .


So, we then discuss about doing a different song which was join me in death which me and Cameron liked that Alfie showed us on last Friday as I was watching how it was played yesterday in my free time at home. Then we tried finding the tab Sandra printed it off but it wasn’t the right one for the song so I tried finding a different version of one but couldn’t find the right one and so I watched a bit of YouTube video of it but nothing was being rehearse so the said let’s just do rehearsal of square hammer but no one wanted to do it so in the end I packed up and basically we got no rehearsing today done because not because of me because I want to do but because of the others who don’t take things as seriously as I do which is extremely frustrating afterwhile .


At the end of the day it's not always about what song you do or don’t like just pick a song and go with it to be honest I don’t really like any of the songs that were picked I don’t mind square hammer and I don’t mind join me in death but I still playing it whether I do or do not like it because i just want to do the gig and be a part of it .

video of rehearsal from 17/3/23

  This is the video of the rehearsal that we did in Robs lesson time of London dungeon with Alfie's attempt at singing it and this was without the bass guitar because the bass guitar normally starts us off with the riff and the two guitars come in and join together but in this rehearsal there was no bass and we had too play the guitars instead at the beginning straight away i  messed up a bit at the start I did come in at the same time as Lennon so I stopped and wait so the timing would be the same and Lennon added Wah Wah pedal which he didn't do previous if I remember that correctly to me it sounded a bit odd but I just went with it as we were already practicing and into the song .   part 1 square hammer part 2 square hammer  The video is original altogether and about 3 to 4 minutes long but for some reason it won't allow me to upload it on here like that so I had to split it so if its a bit messed sorry not much i can do as I don't know much about editing or spl...
